1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Field Scouts mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Field Scouts is a mobile application that provides information about Georgia baseball complexes, including park locations, satellite photo maps, and amenity markers (fields, parking, restrooms, concessions, entrances). The App is intended to help travel baseball families navigate complexes more easily.

3. Accuracy Disclaimer

Park data, maps, and amenity locations are provided on a best-effort basis and are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or current.

Baseball complex layouts change. Fields are renumbered, amenities move, and new facilities are added. Always verify critical information (field assignments, schedules, entry points) with tournament officials or the hosting organization. Field Scouts is a navigation aid, not an authoritative source of tournament or facility information.

We are not responsible for any inconvenience, missed games, or other consequences arising from reliance on information provided in the App.

4. Permitted Use

You may use Field Scouts for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute park data or map content
• Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair our servers
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose

5. User Submissions

If you submit park suggestions, issue reports, or marker suggestions through the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and incorporate that content into the App and our database. You represent that your submissions do not infringe any third-party rights.

6. Intellectual Property

The Field Scouts name, logo, App design, and original content are owned by Field Scouts. Park location data is sourced in part from OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Database License (ODbL). Satellite photography displayed in the App is sourced from Supabase storage and remains the property of its respective rights holders.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FIELD SCOUT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED $10.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Georgia.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
